First of all, let me say WAR EAGLE. Never, ever hated Alabama until my dear husband became the biggest Alabama fan on the planet. Really....I entered him in the contest that Montgomery Advertiser had about 3 years ago and he came in second. No lie...he even tried to name our children after Alabama players. Well, he succeeded with T, but then I caught on. Long story...search the Advertiser's archives if you are dying to read about it. So to you Robert Hughes, and Dr. Llera (Robert's best friend who's even more obnoxious than Robert), War Eagle.
Secondly, if you haven't already bought it, go out and buy the book called "Elf on the Shelf". I tried to buy it last year but everybody was sold out. OH MYYYYYYY!!!! I told the boys that Santa had dropped off a book for them and read the story. I have never in my life seen two children be more perfect. Well, T was perfect the whole night. B had a breakdown because Robert wrote his letter to Santa with a black pen instead of a blue pencil. But up until then...all I heard was yes m'am, yes sir, excuse me mommy, yea..it works. Don't know how long it works, but it worked tonight.
Thirdly, (is that a word), you have to see the movie "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants". Robert bought the dvd for me about 3 years ago, and I never watched it because I thought it would be hoaky. And it is, but it's so good. I just bought the second movie tonight and I NEVER buy dvds. Anyway, it's kind of neat that you can find a little bit of yourself in every character. Well, I could anyway. Does that mean I have multiple personalities? It also kind of makes you think about all of the what ifs that you never really asked yourself. Anyway, just watch it. And if you need to borrow a copy, we'll just start the "Sisterhood of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants DVD". Just let me know and I'll send them your way. Husband probably will hate it, so watch it by yourself.
Fourth, well...I'll just have to make another movie for y'all to see this one. Give me a couple of days. It's the cutest thing you've ever seen.
Fifth, (why do you spell fifth that way?) I put up three Christmas trees today and had a wonderful time with my family. I'm a tree fanatic and I just love Christmas, so we did our family tree with all of our collectable ornaments, a Grinch tree and a Happy Birthday Jesus tree. Still not finished however. Robert's working on the yard. Maybe a bit southern trash like when we get finished. I'm trying colored lights for the first time. Well, I'm not. Robert is. He made the executive decision. I'll take a photo....unless of course you see it from your house first.
Can you email me who the book Elf on the Shelf is written by? Thanks!
Michelle
