1. Technology is a cool thing. But, being so old that you have to get your stepchild to show you how to do something correctly is not. Thanks for helping Zach. I have recently become a user of facebook. LOVE IT!! I have found so many people that I lost contact with. I thought facebook was just for teenagers like Miley Cyrus to post obscene photos...but NO!!!! It's for old 30 somethings to connect with old friends too. Go to facebook and search for Tiffany Hughes and please become my friend. I know sounds first grade but neato mosquito.
2. LuLu broke her nose last week. Well, actually the cartilage in it. She's fine. Just a little yellow and swollen. She was hugging me from behind and slipped and fell on the hardwood floor before I knew what happened. Robert says she has my gracefullness. So after a trip to the doctor with two sick kids, we made it through the week.
3. I worked at the pharmacy this weekend and was cussed out on Saturday a total of 4 times. And told by a lady wearing a pink knit or crocheted hat or animal on her head that she was going to send her boyfriend back to get me. Ok...here's the thing. She got mad at me because I was helping a 90 year old man get his medicines straight and it took longer that she thought it should have taken. After thinking about it, I thought to myself...hmmmmm...should I really be afraid of a man who would love a woman who wore a pink crocheted growth on her head?
4. My cousin Lindsey is moving back to Nashville!! I'm so dang glad! She was my only "sister" when I was growing up, even though I had three. Long story..another post. One of her children is about the same age as Lulu and gosh knows LuLu needs a female friend to play with or she's gonna be a female linebacker.
5. I was reminded this week by one of my old college roomates that I eat salt on my ketchup. I guess that it's so normal to me, that it's not abnormal. Makes you wonder what else you do that ranks you right on up there with folks in a mental hospital that you think is perfectly normal.
6. I met someone this week that truly affected my life for the better. He came in to do an inspection for the fire department at the studio and we started talking. Well, he ended up saying a prayer for me before he left. I think he was an angel. Either straight from Heaven or one from earth, because God knew right then that I needed that and thought he'd be the best person for the job. Thanks Pete.
7. I'm starting a new support group called "friends don't let friends buy clearance holiday decor from WalMart". This weekend, WalMart actually marked their stash down to 90% off. Now, I'm all about a sale, but sweet mama, not on "spray snow", or velvet bows. Y'all know how I feel about that.
